ABOUT SHANNON
I’m Shannon McGregor, founder of The Well Room.
I help women who feel stuck in ways that are hard to explain. Sometimes it shows up in their health. Sometimes in their relationships, their energy, their mood, or their ability to follow through on changes they know would help. Often, it is a combination of all of it.
My work is rooted in functional health, meaning we look at how the body actually functions day to day. Not just symptoms, but patterns. How blood sugar, digestion, hormones, minerals, stress load, and daily habits interact over time. This gives us a clear, grounded picture of what your body has been responding to and what it needs to move forward.
But information alone is rarely enough.
Many women already know what they should be doing. The frustration comes when their body does not respond the way they expect, or when changes never quite stick. That is where subconscious patterns come in.
I work at the intersection of physiology and internal patterning. We look at how long held beliefs, stress responses, and internal habits quietly shape your health, your choices, and your relationships. When those patterns are addressed alongside functional health support, change tends to feel easier, more natural, and more sustainable.
This is how we take foundational health to the next level.
WHAT MY WORK LOOKS LIKE
I combine functional nutrition, lab based insight, and subconscious pattern work to help clients create meaningful change across multiple areas of life.
For some women, that means improved energy, digestion, sleep, or hormone balance.
For others, it shows up as clearer boundaries, calmer relationships, or a sense of direction after feeling stuck for a long time.
We focus on understanding your body’s signals, removing unnecessary guesswork, and supporting the internal conditions that allow change to take hold.
This work is practical, thoughtful, and deeply personalized. It is never rushed and never one size fits all.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with women who are thoughtful, capable, and often responsible for a lot. They are used to handling things, pushing through, and figuring it out on their own. At some point, that approach stops working.
They are not looking for extremes, quick fixes, or surface level motivation. They want to understand what is happening in their body and why certain patterns keep repeating in their health or their life.
They are ready for support that is intelligent, calm, and grounded in reality.
TRAINING AND BACKGROUND
My work is informed by both clinical training and lived experience.
I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a Certified Integrative Medicine Provider with training in PTSD, Complex Trauma, and Traumatic Brain Injury, a Board Certified Hypnotherapist, and an EFT Practitioner. I am trained in Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis through MCBE.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Higher Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. I have completed advanced training through the Nutritional Therapy Association, Dr. Leslie Korn’s Advanced Applications of Integrative Medicine, and specialized education in women’s hormones, fertility, stress physiology, and foundational health.
WHAT CLIENTS NOTICE
Clients often tell me they finally understand what their body has been trying to communicate. They feel more confident making decisions about their health and less overwhelmed by conflicting advice. Many share that things feel calmer, clearer, and easier to maintain, not just physically but in how they show up in their daily lives.
A common theme I hear is that this work feels different. More connected. More sustainable. More supportive of the whole person.
“I’ve tried a lot of things before. This feels different.” — H.G.
“I lost 8 pounds without even trying.” — O.M
“I’ve done all the things. Counted calories, tried medications, and this is the first time it’s actually worked.” —N.P.
